How To Not Concede Goals In FIFA13?

FIFA 13 is undoubtedly one of the best games in the franchise. The graphics, the interface, the skill games, the player control, the soundtracks -- everything is just phenomenal. With such extraordinary qualities which has set a high bar for the PES franchise, EA has also intensified the AI difficulty. No matter how good of a gamer you are, this installment will definitely be a challenge for you. So, here are some tips for newbies and experienced players on how not to concede goals:

FIFA13

1. Buy top defenders for your team:-

Spare some good amount of money in the next transfer season and buy excellent defenders. Strengthen the defense of your team with their quality and experience.

2. Use a defensive formation:-

Experiment with various defensive formations such as 5-3-2, 5-4-1, 5-3-1-1, and more and choose the one best for your team. More players in the defensive role means a strong defense.

3. Man-Marking:-

Assign your defenders man-marking duties according to their positions. Your defenders will stick to opposite team's attack, ensuring that the forwards do not strike goals.

And here comes the most important word of advice....

4. Do not ever,  I mean EVER switch to Ultra-Defense:-

This is the only thing, I think, FIFA13 lacks in. The Ultra-Defensive mode is pathetic. It doesn't effect your defense at all. In fact, according to my experience after playing the game for so many months, I've seen that the defenders leave their positions, making your defense extremely vulnerable.
