Four Underrated Metal Dummers

Drummers. All the bands would suck without them, wouldn't they? A drummer is usually referred to as the 'Metronome' of a band. But actually, they are far beyond the term. Keeping the band in sync is just one of the drummer's tasks. And when it comes to Metal and Extreme Metal drumming, 'timing' and tempo aren't the only things a drummer has to keep in mind. Here are some the most underrated Modern Metal drummers:

1. Janne Parviainen:

The first drummer on my list is Janne Parviainen. He plays for the Finland-based Folk Metal band Ensiferum. His double bass and blast beats techniques are quite impressive, which is complemented by his dynamic fills and rolls.

2. Francesco Paoli:

When you talk about speed in Metal, you just cannot forget Francesco Paoli. The guy is the drummer for Italian Symphonic Death Metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse. His drumming on every track by the band has totally blown my mind! Watch the official video of The Violation, and see for yourself.

3. Matthew 'Matt' Garstka:

Matt Garstka is well known as the drummer for Instrumental Progressive Metal band Animals as Leaders. According to me, he's one of the best drummers in the progressive metal genre, with an array of influences from Fusion, Metal, Funk, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, Blues, Rock, R&B, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, African and more.

4. Kerim "Krimh" Lechner:

The ex-drummer of Decapitated is one the most talented and under-rated in the Extreme Metal genre. After Vitek's demise, Krimh was definitely the best guy to fill his shoes. Besides his kickass drumming, he is also a splendid guitarist. He's currently working on his solo album, which you can check out on his Youtube channel

4 Things You Are Missing If You Are Not Watching The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is AMC's epic horror television drama series, which is based on the comic series of the same name. The series is set on the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world which is dominated by zombies (who are definitely not very friendly). Rick and the other survivors have to fight the walkers and couple of un-dead douchebags! The show is definitely one of the most successful drama series on television, and if you are not watching it, you are missing some serious epicness!

1. Spine-Tingling Storyline

Twists & turns, betrayals, love and obviously a lot of zombie biting -- The Walking Dead has it all. Rick and his group of survivors are up against both the living and the non-living world. Staying together is their only key to survival. But for how long?

2. Gore

The Walking Dead is definitely not recommended for the faint-hearted.  It is all about flesh, blood, weapons and whatever you can kill the walkers with (Including axes, swords, knives, crossbows, guns, more guns, screwdrivers...)

3. Special Effects and Make-Up

Honestly, I've never seen a drama television series with such level of excellence. The precision and perfection, applied by the make-up team to give a horrifying look to the walkers WILL make your jaw drop. See for yourself -- far better than most zombie-based movies....

Arrrhhhh!

4. Outstanding Cast

What makes a television show complete? Yeah, its cast. The actors on The Walking Dead perform their roles amazingly well, and yea, the zombies too. I think that the Emmy should include a whole new category of awards - The Best of The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is surely the next big thing on television.

Fact: Each episode of “The Walking Dead” has a budget of $2.8 million.
